I have a few figures in more than one scale and this is one of those.  I have another 1:43 figure, but I'm not sold on them, as yet, so I thought I might have another go with one of my faves.  I have this one in 1/16, 1/18, 1,24, and now 1/43 scale.

Above - 1/24 scale.

Below is the 1/43 scale of the same figure.  I am still working out the kinks with my 'new' camera I bought six years ago and never used.  Tomorrow I will endeavor to provide better shots of him, and not so much the Rolls.

I think he looks great next to the Rolls. The better pic is the first; better light for both figure and car. That close, the light needs to be the same. Scale-wise, he looks spot on!

@perrone1  I shot it in macro, but it's difficult to pick up the detail in his clothing and the camera seems to like the Rolls, so it focuses on that more.  Depth of field issues, but I will persevere.

@gdh

Your depth of field is shallow, considering the cars behind. For max depth of field you need, as I'm sure you're aware, an aperture setting of f/16 to f/45 or so. You'll just need a good amount of light since your shutter speed will be so long. Fill flash from an onboard flash is good if available.

@perrone1  Tony, mon ami, it's a Fujifilm FinePix AX550, not my old Canon set up.

Not familiar with that. I'm guessing it doesn't have what I was talking about. Hell, these days a cell phone has incredible cameras. My Android has a 50 mexapixel camera but it won't do what my pro camera does.

@perrone1  I gave away all of my professional photographic equipment to my phys therapist, after my knee was redone, in San Francisco.  Yeah, she was a dish, but I figured she would have a greater need for my gear, for she was in her second year as a student of photography.  Getting used to these digital cameras has been a treat and I don't mean a tasty one.  They just don't have the capability of a good single-reflex, or double-reflex setup.

The DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) cameras are on the way out. They are being replaced as we speak by mirrorless.

I love that figure in 1/43. The face reminds me of Formula 1 driver George Russell. That camera discussion came close to home. I have a large bureau crammed with cameras that I can’t part with ranging from a Leica M4-2  to a more current Fuji mirrorless digital. I tend to use my iPhone most these days.

@david-green   Then, perhaps you will also like him in other sizes:

I like the figure regardless of the scale.

@bob-jackman  As do I.  He was a quick favorite and I don't dare go any smaller, for I would most likely lose anything smaller than the 1/43 figure.  I have good eyesight, without glasses, but tiny things tend to get mislaid.
