My 1940 Lincoln send from Allentown maybe i should say instead that my model has been accepted at Dayton Ohio but he is now retarded and examinated at the Canada border services agency since friday morning. I don't know why it is so long here and wonder if the next time if it would be not better for me to be more patient and that the model will be send directly from the factory and not from the museum? But i was afraid that all the models would be all sold at the museum.
@d-m-holcombe I check almost every minute to see if there is a new update on Canada Post and USPS. I think I'll take a glass of wine and maybe even two. Thank you for your pics. There are a lot of models that you show that i have never seen of my life.Â
@ben-lampson I think it will be the cherry on the sundae to well finish the year if I can get it before New Years Day. 🙄Â
Michel I hope you get the Lincoln before the New Year as well. Every time I hear what our Canadian neighbors have to go through just to receive their packages it makes me grateful to be in the US
Indeed you are fortunate to be in US. You don't need to pay the custom fees, the shipping cost is less expensive if you order with David or Bob or whatever sellers in usa.
I am pretty sure that i will have to pay around 100 dollars of Canadian custom charge to have my Lincoln. The costs are added and never finish. I don't blame anyone just my government. Sometimes, i ask to some seller to declared less than the real price to save me the charges but some don't want or can not. So if the Lincoln has been declared at 320usd you can imagine the price i will have to pay. I am wonder if the declaration papers have been completed by someone on the forum who was present at the museum? And i will be very curious to know how many models have been sold outside of USA during this evenment? I imagine and i am sure of nothing than the rest not sold has been returned in UK? Or all the models are send from the museum? If so you imagine if you live in France?, Belgium, Germany and the models are built in UK. I can't imagine that works like that. There is probably something that i don't understand in this processus. Merci! Bob.
Michel, I just ordered the Lincoln and got word that it is being shipped from Dayton, Ohio.
@bob-jackman You bring me luck Bob. I should receive the Lincoln this Friday. The equivalent of 54 usd paid in Canadian customs fees.
Michel, did you receive your Zephyr? Mine is due to arrive today.
@bob-jackman Yes Bob. I picked her up from the post office yesterday. It is a real jewel. I wonder, if I will leave it on the base or not? Usually I put them directly on a glass shelf but this one is so special. For a 1940 car, the design is futuristic I think.Â

@michel-lemieux So glad you finally got her! That red paint is fantastique!
@karl It's really shinning like Bulgari watches.
