Instead of an auction page here on these forums, how about having a simple buy-sell-trade-swap page?

The swap-sell pages seem to work well on other forum sites.

The auction page here doesn't seem to be working well.

We could pay a flat fee donation of $5 per transaction to the club.

What do you guys think? John K?

Does anyone here have an extra Neo 1961 Chrysler Newport wagon they can part with?

I am willing to pay original price plus shipping.

Your suggestion sounds good to me. Sometimes simple things are best. Sorry, I do not have that Chrysler model.

Also, are you planning to attend the Chicago/Countryside show?

Big YES to the buy-sell-swap page

And sorry but I don't have a spare '61 Chrysler wagon. It is a beautiful model!

Gentlemen, I know the auctions are a problem. But we can't let this forum turn into a classified ad site. I'm sorry, but the owners won't allow it as they have their own for-profit business, one that funds these pages.

So, let's do this. If you want to form a private email group that shares things for sale or swap, either exchange messages or post your email address here. That way, you can do it offline, and everyone will be happy.

Thank you for letting us know John.

Does Mint Models still steer the ship?

I ask, because it has been quite some time since I have seen the advertising on the top banner.

I miss the ads because they would show upcoming model releases.

@ben-lampson, yes, Mint Models and Legacy are different branches of the same company. Now that you mention it, I haven't seen any ads either. However, I do get emails regularly from each.
