IXO/White Box 1959 Plymouth convertible conversion
IXO made a black Savoy taxi version as a James Bond movie car (From Russia with Love) and now there is a White Box blue version with incorrect side trim. It makes for a good base to repaint in a non taxi color and to convert into a convertible. A previously planned Fury hardtop has been cancelled by IXO per one of my suppliers.
Here's the taxi, the Savoy repaint and the Belvedere (not a Fury) convertible which got the deck lid continental kit, a favorite of Virgil Exner, dual rear antennas and side mirrors. Improvements to the wheel covers were also added. Interestingly the blue sedan comes with a pre blackwashed grill that the Bond version didn't have.

I've been watching this one and the 2 door version
I am not sure this is an IXO product, but I think it may be an IXO resin conversion by someone in the Ukraine. The vendor seems to have a lot of rare Russian and Ukraine vehicles including lots of buses. Does anyone know anything more??

Faux spare tire technique explained
A suitable diameter washer with edges beveled and a central chrome trim washer inserted from the underside and the hole filled with the head of a small nail finished with a black dot and a smaller gold dot. And yes, a final circular molding with silver wire. Necessity is the mother of invention in these projects.
