Tom Dirnberger's '64 Imperial models arrived today, and they are amazing. Absolutely fantastic colors.
I hope to have photos taken this weekend.

Great news, John. I'm on the road this week. But I have two waiting for me back home. I'm looking forward to doing a video when I get back.

I'm eager to see a pic of the turquoise one!

My turquoise with white up top is on the way. Can't wait.
Here is the Royal Turquoise Poly version, top down. Usually I prefer top down models, so I can see interior details better. But sometimes the car has a special 'look' with the top up and I go that route (as I did with the '61 Imp).
You may notice in the last pic that the door handle is slightly wonky, but not enough of a big deal for me to send back or try to correct. I tried that with a Neo '57 Imp once and very nearly lost the door handle (try finding that miniscule part on a black granite countertop).
“Slightly wonky”, I like that phrase.

Regarding the door handle, I wonder if the resin model makers use a water soluble white glue like Brooklin, that can be loosed if soaked in water.

I love the dark aqua metallic combined with the white interior.....very nice contrast!
That's a gorgeous model Imperial !!
Worth every cent and the wait.
