Hi, folks. I need a final headcount for our trip to Sergio's Museum in Miami on Jan 27-28. Dave Gilbert is arranging a tour with the owner at Awesome Diecast on Tuesday. We will visit the museum and have dinner there on Wednesday. We'll come up with another activity for Tuesday and hope to have a roundtable discussion over dinner that evening. The Sunday show at Countryside has come to an end, and we want to discuss plans for the future.
Jeff Lane has been doing a great job with his 1/43 and Automobilia show on Saturdays in March. This year, it will be on March 14. He may adjust the dates for future shows. We'll have to wait and see. Kelly and I will be there for Jeff's show this year. Jeff is opening his show up to other scales, so there is a lot of potential there.
In any event, those in Miami will be able to brainstorm together. If you would like ot join us, let me know.

@jkuvakas Wait… we don’t get to pick out a souvenir from Sergio’s collection?!? 🤣
@randyrusk, you can, but you may have to fight him for it...or me... 😉

@jkuvakas I’m guessing he has at least one of the four unreleased white metal Goldvarg 1952 Nash Golden Airflyte Ambassador Pininfarina models in his collection.
I cannot attend but simply wanted to acknowledge Dave Gilbert's gracious efforts to arrange for a visit with what I would assume is a competitor of his, Awesome Diecast. Assuming that's the case, this speaks volumes about Dave's character and putting this hobby (on an overall basis) ahead of his own, more direct business interests. Kudos!
