The Buick Automotive Brand is a favorite of mine, especially from the 30's through the 40's. I haven't counted them in my collection recently, but it would be fair to say I have a significant quantity of them.
Among those are a couple of very nice 1940 examples from Victory Models. I have two Touring Sedans, one added this past year, the other several years ago. Last month I came across a convertible coupe and jumped at the opportunity to add that gem. I would have preferred a closed convertible, but this one still works on every level for me, and it is a perfect color.
Here's two of these wonderful models together in a couple of photos.

Excellent Buicks and replicas, too. They are real beauties in these photographs ! The closest Buick I have to this is a Signature 1/32 scale 1941 limousine.
They both look great!
I'll take convertibles - always - but that green sedan is a gorgeous model. I can never look at 1940 American cars without thinking, "If they only knew.... WWII would soon consume their lives."
Two gorgeous examples...first rate pics of course!

I love the Victory models in my collection. I have the touring sedan but not the Convertible. The closest I have to the convertible is the Brooklin 1939 Century also in cream. Thanks for the writeup and pictures John.
Very nice models John; it was a great styling era for Buick.
Yes, that is another outstanding model and an important one in my collection - so much so that I have all three colors it was made in.
