Wow! That Bigatti 68 model looks like a model fof a Bugatti 68. Of course, the 1:1 looked like a model of a Bugatti Atlantic Type 67. So, as usual, Auto Cult got it right. Nice camper!

What a weird bunch; even for Autocult.  I am surprised they sell enough of their strange models to stay viable.....but pleasantly surprised because diversity is good for the hobby.  I have only one of theirs, the Playboy convertible, which is quite conservative looking by Autocult standards.

Jack I agree with your thoughts about Autocult. While I don't collect the types of models they produce I love seeing their models and the diversity they bring to the table.

I'm up to 40 AutoCult/Avenue 43 models now. Even their Buicks are weird.

@jack-dodds Agree with you, Jack - what a weird bunch!  I'm in the same boat - my only Autocult is the Playboy.  This is mainly due to the fact that the original 1:1 Playboy was manufactured about 5 miles from my front doorstep.

You can take it or leave it, though!  https://www.doityourselfrv.com/1969-cj5-jeep-camper/

I love seeing what they are offering too, although most are not for me. I do have 6 Autocult models in my collection, including the Buick Float-it is so cool!

@jack-dodds Well, they usually only make around 333 models of each. Spread across the entire world of potential collectors, many of them sell out quickly. The few times I’ve hesitated on one, it was too late. So I know there are at least 300 people on this planet as oddball as me.

@karl Thanks for the 1:1 reference. While I never have doubted Autocult’s veracity, it’s nice to see the real thing in the wild.

@joop Does not look articulated to help around corners,  but you can detach the camper and "leave it"! 😎
