LINCOLN CONTINENTAL 1965 GREENLIGHT

I like Lincolns, especially those from the 1958 - 1968 decade; here is one from 1965 popularized by the fim Matrix and reproduced by Greenlight.

In terms of quallity/price ratio, the model is very satisfactory; the only downside is this roof which seems a little low to me, as if crushed...this is confirmed if we compare it to that of the real car:

Rather than blaming the height of the roof, i think this impression is due to the too small surface area of the side windows; this is what i'm going to check when i take the car apart.

It's fortunate that the - plastic - roof is not molded with the body...🙂

Then filing, puttying and installation of new windows (at the rear only). I am taking this opportunity to replace the steering wheel with a thinner one and do some paint work for the interior.

@domi7777 Great to see number 2 in the Domy Toys range. After your treatment this Lincoln looks a million dollars and is a vast improvement over Greenlight's original version. Well done!
