Thanks
It has been a pleasure.
Nice to chat about such a fantastic car and its 1/43rd. model, with all of you.
We, (in France) were also chatting about it, on Forum-Auto, in a thread devoted to the US 1/43rd automobilia, which is 3 Y.O now, and counts 301 pages since this WE.

I saw one back in the day in Kenosha, WI, but can't remember the year.

Fascinating link. Thanks, Tom.
By the way the actual model does have script behind the side windows."Grand prix" in silver.Does not show up over white in most of the original model photos.I think this model is a worthwhile purchase but it was not perfect. Some paint smudges but not serious enough to return to sender. No doubt this will affect its long term investment potential(i.e.not mint) but the 1 of 500 might help.
This is the most absurd assessment of quality of a model I have seen here...
Almost as absurd as the obligatory "email me at olds whatever dot com" response to every other post that appears.
Poor quality because a decal comes off. Why brush over the decals, anyway?
Beyond belief!
