I have used my old print copies to research oddities brought forth by David Holcombe and others. Just spotted this on Facebook:
Michel Sordet was, in addition to being a high-level collector, the creator of the Ma Collection brand dedicated to prestigious French cars of the past reproduced in 1:43 scale. With the same brand he published something new, an encyclopedia that presented a beautiful series of collectible models, including handcrafted ones and which was printed from 1974 to 1984. The news is that M. Sordet, to celebrate the centenary of the first brands of scale car manufacturers, such as Tootsietoy, AR, CD, Rossignol, has decided to show numerous photos of obsolete and rare models available, all photos of the scale reproductions of Ma Collection and access to 40 issues of the his encyclopedia, all free of charge. The photos of 30,000 scale models are expected and the highly recommended site is http://www.macollection.ch/.
What a great find. Makes me wish I spent more effort studying my French in high school.

Many, many thanks, Harv. I have just spent a few minutes with this collection and will go back to it, I am sure, time after time. It's a delight! As it grows, I'm sure it will become even more fascinating. This is a #1 site. Again, thank you. David H
