It seems the Matrix 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood Show Car is already available in Europe. From the pictures posted by a dealer, the chrome trim seems a really poor and wobbly foil job. I hope I am wrong.
Are we talking about the pictures shown here? Chromework looks OK to me. Window frames are P/E and the rest of the brightwork looks very crisp and tidy and nothing looks like foil (wobbly or otherwise). And I can't believe for a moment that Matrix could have done proper brightwork on the prototype model then done a cheap foil job on the production version.

If you look closer, it seems the overhead light and fixtures above the model are being reflected in the paint and some of the trim.

We’ll know soon enough! My two color choices shipped today from CA.
@jkuvakas gunmetal gray/silver (which I believe replicates the original) and the red metallic/gray (because it’s striking).
@randyrusk I may have said chrome trim miss alignment on the top windshield strip and rear lower back window line strip looking to have a big gap not integrated to the rear body panel.
I will post further comments when I will receive mine but the imperfections I noticed are also noticeable from the prototype pictures.
Yes. Mind you, if you were being really fussy about a high-end model, that windscreen/windshield frame and bright roof edging are just a little wonky!

@graeme-ogg Wouldn’t disagree, however I’d say to the naked eye it wasn’t noticeable. It was only apparent (in places) once I zoomed in with my camera.

I am fussy about high-end models. Matrix should have better QC. No excuse here.
Here is a copy of the 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe de Ville produced by Bruce Arnold Models. It is one of one produced and was purchased from Bruce in 2015.
It is incorrect as to the whitewalls, interior rear view mirror placement and the missing rooftop antenna for the radio telephone. However, it does have an open glove box containing the mobile phone.
the following photos illustrate the rooftop antenna and the mobile phone...
@lloyd-mecca Very nice model for being metal. I had several Bruce Arnold Cadillacs 20 years ago and they were all outstanding models.
