Here's a comparison between the GADM (left on the photos) and Matrix versions. That old white metal model held well.

There is something wrong with the Matrix model. The front wheels are offset from the fender wells and crooked. This would be enough for me to pass on this one.

Furthermore.......... from the picture of the original Motorama car, the Matrix model is too tall and narrow. It shows evidence that they completely messed up again with another show car Cadillac.

Trust me, I can NIT-PIC  with the best of them; I AM quite the "fastidious collector."   I see the crooked wheels to which you refer (it may be just that model ) and Matrix's taillights appear too large along with whitewall widths but overall, is it really that bad?  🤔 🤔 🤔  

I do agree that the front is a bit "off."  The grill appears to be too tall, there's missing chrome trim above it and that lower grill surround should be chrome.

Crooked wheels? Where? Too tall and narrow? I don't see it. But OK they missed that chrome below the front of the hood.
