Great transporter model Harv. I have two of those MGAs but the transporter is new to me.
They make a great display set.
That's outstanding Harv! I've never seen it before, I'm unaware of the history behind it, don't know anything about this model, have no clue about 1955 MGA Le Mans team cars, but I LOVE IT! 😎 😀 😎Â
@chris Chris - The Bizarre models appeared in 2008, and even before these were the white metal versions by Abingdon Classics. The MGs are more properly called model Ex182, "Ex" being the factory designation for experimental, even though the MGA was pretty much set in stone by the summer of '55. No. 41 placed 12th driven by Lockett and Miles (yes, that Ken Miles). No. 64 (Lund/Waeffler) was 17th and No. 42 (Jacobs/Flynn) DNF'd after an accident on lap 27.
I don't collect racing models but this transporter is terrific. Nice pictures Harv.
