While looking through stored items, I came across this old white metal build of the MIKANSUE AMERICANA 1950 Studebaker Starlight Coupe
Not as accurate as modern productions but interesting and collectible.
I like Studebaker models, too. And I also like the kits made by Mikansue. So I looked up at the shelves to see mine. But . . .
So I looked at the underside.
So it looks like there's a Mikansue kit out there that I can hunt for. Thanks, Prof Green!

It looks great, David, especially in that shade of blue.
I have both the black and grey Brooklin '52 Studebaker Starlights but I wish they had done it from the more interesting looking bullet-nose years.

Did RPH do the mold for the Brooklin? We should be able to figure out who that was?
Hi Karl,
I was curious also but my search of Google did not turn up any information. Perhaps you have other sources.
By the way, great article on Julian Stewart in the Toronto Star Automotive section about his long relationship with a 1967 VW.
He was the designer of early Brooklins (Chrysler Airflow being his pet.) Also most Durham Classics.
Hunting for something else, an hour ago I found this different (but still blue) '50 Studebaker.
I took these three pictures above just a few minutes ago, but as I was looking at them and then back at the model, I thought of something simple that might help. Look at the next picture and see if you can figure out what I did.
Okay, here's the answer.
Good improvement David. I have that one too and will do the same. Thanks.
Another bullet-nose by Best of Show. Certainly the best so far.
