@karl Reminds me of the scandalous way Vanderbilt U. used Nashville's urban renewal laws to acquire surrounding property and take it over in the 1970s.

@mg-harv I was too young when that happened but did benefit from it in the early 1980s when I went there.
We live near the Biltmore if anyone ever visits! Vanderbilt (George, that is) seems to have been a car guy but I doubt any of his cars are in 1/43!
