@mg-harv right on, my position is the “Classic Rock” era begins in 65 with Dylan’s Like A Rolling Stone” merging blues, folk and rock and roll. How does that feel?!

1967 Mustang
Jimi was a fan of both Dylan and Cream (1966, made his first UK appearance when he jammed with Cream at their gig at the London Polytechnic) and covered Like A Rolling Stone and Sunshine Of Your Love in concerts.

@mg-harv Harv, I and two siblings arrived in England in late 1967, from Zambia which we considered as having a more advanced culture, with its U.S. cable T.V. and radio. We used to watch a programme called the Go Go Girls comprising Supremesque ladies on little plinths, dancing to hit tunes which we also heard on the radio. England was different. I recall the three of us standing in a semi-circle, looking, in horrified disbelief, at the Beatles on the roof of Apple studios, singing Get Back. That was my introduction to the era's music and I remain in a state of cultural shock, still! So here's my contribution.................... Arthur Conley Sweet Soul Music and a 1967 Mustang by Western Models, (I forgo Mustang Sally).

I am curious about the Western Models Mustang you have. Do you know when it was made, and was it made in other colors? I knew such a model was made, but this is first picture I have seen. My first car was a 1967 Mustang hardtop like your model, but different color.

VW's Rabbit wasn't around yet in 1967, but I have a white Karmann Ghia by Wiking.

@ed-davis Hi Ed, I bought the Mustang from a very helpful Russian dealer - Leonid at Model Cars Heritage and it had been made from a kit (WESTERN MODELS / SMALL WHEELS SW10 1967 FORD MUSTANG). If you check your in-tray, I've sent you details of a metallic ice blue version that was available about six months or so, ago.
