This is a 4-door Chevrolet sedan as done many years back by Solido. Here, it is done in blue and because Chevrolet's still had a center bar and two-piece front windshield, I should add a chrome-bar divider to the front windscreen to probably make it a bit more correct. It still looks good and is quite inexpensive if you come across one.
Just love these inexpensive but accurate diecasts to work with.   First photo, convertible, Belair, club coupe/business coupe. Second photo, sedan delivery, Provence Moulage transkit station, wagon, convertible before color change to maroon.  Where are the 1949-52 Plymouth diecasts??

@mikedetorrice Excellent photography and scenic manipulation. I collect old contemporary images, and sincerely hope you don't mind; have saved your city scene as it looks so real and nobody would ever imagine the blue Chevrolet was not, originally, there.

@john-quilter Really impressive craftsmanship.
Lol, no problem at all, Charles ! Solido did a nice job with this '50 Chevrolet which allows it to perhaps even appear contemporary,
I continue to be impressed by your wonderful blending of models and photographic images, Mike.
Thank you, David ! Because the model cars of various scales are so nice, they can seem to appear in a real scene.
I bought this model for my father many years ago.
His first new car was a 1951 Chevy in a darker blue. It ushered me home from the hospital when I was born in 1955. Mom and I cried when he traded it in in 1962.
The model's been in my possession for almost 20 years now, and as I type this, I look up and to the left and think of Dad.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Is that a Stratocruiser? Great old photo - did you insert all four cars? I can't tell at all? 😉Â

Those are great old memories ! One of the first cars I remember is my Dad's 1953 Chevrolet. Automobiles can almost become living in a way, can't they ? I also can think of him when I look at my models or see old cars, especially since my Dad had some involvement with the automobile industry.

You're right that is a Boeing Stratocruiser, Karl ! The Model 377 was kind of a very cool passenger/transport version of the B-29/B-50 airplane. The airport bridge is at New York Idelwild Airport, later New York Kennedy International Airport. Sergio has done some great Pan American World Airways vehicles in 1/43.
The only automobile in that scene that's actually a photographic phony is the Solido 1/43 Chevrolet 4-door sedan.
