Lovin' that GMC truck!
I think they have completely forgotten the Gaylord..........
Extremely nice Esval replicas of all of these. Great automotive subjects here, too !
Are all of these authentic to 1:1s? When it comes to resin and white metal, I shy away from unauthentic models. Leave fiction to the toymakers.

Harv, I feel the same way. If I can't prove a 1:1 ever existed.... I don't want a scale version of it. But I'm really chiming to say I LOVE YOUR QUOTE; I'm going to steal it!

Agreed.

Different strokes. Authenticity to an actual 1:1 is not a priority for me. For my collecting sensibilities, I would rather have a well-executed model of a fantasy car than a poorly executed one of an actual 1:1.

@jkuvakas I'd tend to agree. Well-executed "What if?" models can be attractive and fun and add a bit of variety. Provided of course that a non-authentic version of a vehicle is not being offered as a "very rare hard-to-find limited edition model of a genuine "authentic" variant, yours for only $750 plus $95 shipping".

😮 😮 😲 😲 A sentence I have never said, nor could ever say. I think I need to sit down... 😯 😯 😲 😲
@jkuvakas I certainly think there is some extreme nit picking here. No model will ever be perfect. We are lucky to be overwhelmed with choices.
@whodeytink It always boils down to whatever works to suit the interest of the collector. I'm just glad that we have such a diversity of likes and dislikes in the models and 1:1 cars we discuss; it keeps things interesting. I have definitely had my mind changed from time to time about what appeals or not and appreciate the conversation that prompted it.

Looking over the Esval website there is quite a diversity of offerings in 43rd. https://esvalmodels.com/scales European, American, including some from the 1920s, 1930s and later, but not sure about the Lincoln Continental pickup or the Eldorado station wagon. Were these one off custom made 1:1 cars?
