Love the article and the car. My love affair with my 1961 Corvette isn't as long but it has lasted for 49 years. Like John, I have my own regimen regarding it's care and feeding. Thanks John K. and John K. for sharing this wonderful story with us.

A great article!  Speaking of Charleston and British cars, here is a spot from the last time we were there... No Morris Minors though....

Lord Nuffield, who was charged with distributing rare raw materials in the aftermath of WWII so as to advantage export sales, described this car as looking like a 'fried egg' and was reluctant to grant it a materials' licence on the grounds, nobody would buy it.

Great article - thanks for the link. While we were members of the JCNA (Jaguar Club of North America) I also enjoyed John's model car and real car articles there.

Great article about a lovely little car. I feel the same about my bought new 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata but it is still early days for it.

Thanks for this excellent article.  The detail pics are awesome.  Especially the wiring.
