Motor City et al

There does seem to be a lot of MOC, Design Studio, USA models for sale on ebay, and I am trying to collate them as they appear. Does anyone know if there is a definative list anywhere?
Thankyou, Roger

I have one answer to anyone looking for a listing of models.

Do yourself a favor and buy Jerry Rettig's book "American Wheels". It covers all 1:43 scale hand-built and die-cast models of American cars. Contact Jerry at: jerryrettig@msn.com, I believe he has a few copies left. It is my bible for models as it is for many forum members.

I think Jerry's book in an invaluable asset

But it lacks production numbers and color variations. I can imagine what a daunting task that might be. Are there any sources for that data?

One thing I do...

is write the date/price of a completed MOC eBay auction on a small self-stick tag, and affix it next to a photo in the Ford or GM "in Miniature" books. Of course, this only covers GM up to '54, and leaves out other car co's, but it makes a interesting "side note" to the photos. I use "American Wheels" constantly for reference, and add color variations for some of the diecasts. This book has turned out to be FAR more valuable to me than I first thought it would.
