1/43 Matrix 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500SS Coupe By Pinin Farina ch#915769

@mg-harv  "...  and is believed to be the first car in history to feature twin headlights."    -- https://www.magnetomagazine.com/articles/alfa-6c-2500-ss-pinin-farina-awarded-best-of-show-at-2025-concorso-deleganza-varignana-1705/

Farina was ahead of his time in many ways.  It is in C. Lopresto's collection now; he only collects one-offs and "first issues"!!! I had the privilege to see it in 2018:

@hobbydragon For some reason, I always go for the Blue Alfa if I have a choice! 😊

@karl if I have a choice - I always go for every Alfa option 😜

In this case I have both paint schemes produced by Matrix

I do love Bizarres too, but still would like to get the Disco Volante in some better quality, probably like new Tecnomodel Mythos models

@hobbydragon

I agree. As technology improves and collectors are willing to pay more for their models, the quality, accuracy and detail keeps improving, especially in smaller scales.

@hobbydragon reckon this is a fascinating car., great history. Wiki covers it well. Heres the 2008 version.
