My latest acquisition...
...from across the pond. Good rendition of the '60 Ford Ranch Wagon--part of the James Bond car collection. Also scored the stock '73 Chevy Bel-Air in gold from the same series, which I spiffed up with full-wheelcovers from the '73 Impala Custom hdtp. Roofline on that one had sufficient issues to render it to donor statusphoto no longer available
John, that '60 Ford Ranch Wagon is very nice. Who makes it and from whom did you order it? I think I want one!

I'll order one To!
I heard they are sold out !!!
Yes. I had a lot of trouble finding one even a couple of months ago.
Seems to have been unusually popular because it appeals to American car fans and not just James Bond collectors. Even the UK distributor of the James Bond series told me they weren't taking any more orders on it.I eventually found a shop in Germany that had a couple in stock, but not any more. Going now on U.S.eBay sites for $55-$65.
There is one open for bids on eBay in the UK at the moment
offering to ship to the US for just ?8, or ?13.50 with recorded delivery (signature service), but with 4 days to go I expect the price to go up quite a bit before the end of bidding.
Ixo is re-issuing it as a Premium-X in red, yellow and Massachusetts Police versions. Promised for June, but since we have just had a much-delayed batch release of Premium-Xs, it might be much later than that before the next container-loads emerge from China. It will be a bit more expensive than the original price of the James Bond issue, but less than that model is now fetching on eBay, and some detailing may be better e.g. they may improve the "gunsights" on the front wings/fenders, which are seriously over-scale.

Unavailable now from eaglemoss
Mine came from eaglemoss with crooked bumper and for several months they promised a replacement then as series finished they refused to replace it and just refunded the money. However series is still running in some countries so could turn up on ebay from south Africa or Australia.
Ixo have released this in states in their premium range.
It will be available in Premium X, Maz, but apparently not yet.
I think it's due to be released with the next wave, though. Graeme is almost certainly correct when he says they'll improve the "gunsight" fender ornaments.
IXO does the bulk of the Bond cars. Purchased on ebay UK.
John, I did the same thing to the '73 Bel Air...
... for the same reason. I also pulled the bumper from the Impala.

Premium X doing a lot of repops of Bond vehicles in this year's catalog...
...59 Savoy 4 dr. sdn., '73 Bel Air, '85 Dodge Ram and '60 Chevy 1-ton flatbed.
I like the two-taillight look better, but contemplating using the lighter Impala interior.
I'm surprised they're not doing anything based on the Dodge Ambulance.
The same model of truck was marketed as a potential tow truck, which would be nice to see a scale model of. Likewise, color me surprised they're not making a Brazilian Chevrolet C-10 Pickup. They made the ambulance version which just has a plastic top over what would normally be the truck bed.
