Where are WMCE models actually made?   The older Western Models I have were all from Taunton UK.   Twice visited their production facility when Mike Stevens was the owner.

John, the WMCE models are crafted by SMTS exclusively for Route 66 models, like Conquest/Madison and Highway Travelers.

Buz bought Western models and all tooling from Mike Stevens back in 2007(?) I believe.

Someone can correct me if I am mistaken.

WMCE are made in Sussex, England by SMTS but the moulds are owned by Buzz I believe. Mike Stephens, the owner of Western Models, retired many years ago.

@john-quilter Buz Kirkel has the masters, along with Conquest, Madison, and Highway Travelers, so I presume they are made by SMTS.
