Hi Tony,

I travelled to Florida for the 12 Hours of Sebring off and on for years, the last time being 2012. First time was in the 60s but did not restart again until late 1990s. 12 times in total.

Got there for opening day and stayed until the day after, usually on the outside of Corner 3.

What I loved was the interaction with the drivers and crews. I had many a steak dinner with the Audi bunch. Only the ALMS races were as open for mixing. Met people from all over the world there and still keep contact with many.

That Corvette Corral must have been a great place to stay. 1972 Stingray would be a great way to go.

Usually got to hit Aviation museums and got to fly in Texans and biplanes at least once each trip.

Great memories.

Oh my goodness. A man after my own heart. Brothers-in-cars!! HA, hey, I like that saying!!

I met Hurley Haywood there one year but met and video-filmed Paul Newman at the inaugural Grand Prix of Dallas, when I lived there following our move to Texas. Must have been somewhere around '84 or so.

Heather, in daddy's car awaiting her, "Corvette Ride".

Very nice car Tony.Love the colour.  Your daughter looks very pleased to be sitting in the driver's seat.

Nice to meet Hurley Haywood. He was an impressive Porsche driver. I got his signature at one point but no lasting conversations.
