Thank you JK and Harv for such an interesting and informative interview. It has sure helped our members know more about your interests and collections. I'll certainly need to watch this more than once.
Harv, that is an impressive presentation on the history and timeline of model collecting in 1/43. Your interests and collecting closely parallels mine, American cars somewhat excepted, and I do have examples of much that you talk about in your presentation. I am greatly impressed.
The discussion about after life divesting is food for thought.
Excellent interview John and Harv.
@david-green David - Thanks! I've noted from your posts that we collect a lot of the same cars. I even found, when researching my Dublo Dinky Toys, that you had a post about them on Chris Sweetman's 1:64 forum. Small world!
Very interesting interview. Enjoyed hearing these details from a fellow collector.

Hi John and Harv
Really enjoyed the interview. Please continue with interviews of characters from the model car world. Brought back memories of Lloyd and Gene starting Gentleman's Emporium, Marque Products and Precision Miniatures in Costa Mesa many many years ago.
Thanks

Nice interview. I enjoyed hearing about the some of the milestones of the hobby.
@jack-daniels On a visit to L. A. in '82 I went to Marque Products and got to see Gene pulling some Hudsons out of the casting machinery.
@mg-harv Great conversation between Harv and John on John Kuvakas’ “My Take” with lots of helpful information. I bought my first Brooklin, the ‘49 Buick Roadmaster Sedanet, in ‘81 from Marque Products. I continued to acquire models from Marquette Products until they were no longer in business.
