Officially, how do we enter this contest if we are a NABCC member ? I see that some members are just guessing by way of the posts above. Is this how the contest is being conducted and is it underway? If so, I suggest that one guess per member be allowed, otherwise, one could just keep sending in guesses until they hit the nail on the head. I'll wait for the hints next week. Just my 2 cents.

Ken;  it seems to me that for every guess the field of choice narrows; which helps anyone who wants to try a guess.  IMHO it's more fun to analyze the guesses and see where it all leads us.  The more guesses made, the merrier the scramble.  I think the odds of someone nailing it early, given all the choices of Brooklins there are to choose from, are pretty small.  The hints next week will help considerably I suspect.

Ken, you are 100% correct, you must be a member to participate. PERIOD!!!!!!!!

Heck, joining is so easy and the $ 20 membership fee is a terrific value.

Jack, non-members can guess for sure, but they sure won't win the brass ring if their guess is correct. The prize, one of our soon to be announced beautiful Brooklin Models.

Now, that's some kind of a prize. Who else has done this before? We said all along the NABCC would be special and we do our best to prove that every day.

The clues will start very soon. Stay tuned.

Please allow me to clarify our contest. Non-members may guess as often as they like, but if they post the correct answer, they WILL NOT win the brass ring. You MUST be a member of the NABCC to qualify for our Grand Prize, a Brooklin Model covered in this contest. What a terrific prize it will be. My recollection, nothing like our contest has ever been offered by a Brooklin Model Club.

Ken;  I have rethought your concern, which has made me decide to wait for the clues provided next week.  I didn't think about how an early correct guess might spoil the enjoyment of chasing clues for others.  Like you I will wait.  Thanks.

We recently conducted a similar contest on our sister Forum and there were hundreds of guesses that made it a lot of fun. The contest lasted several days and was decided on the last one. The more guesses, the better.
