that Kraus Maffei Rijkspolitie can not be right.........
@randyrusk thats because our Rijkspolitie never used buses like that.
they had pretty straightforward ones....
as a matter of fact, people used to think working with our Rijkspolitie always gave you the opportunity to drive the famous (or infamous if you like) Porsches.
a quite romantic view................not....
but the truth was that only the married officers had a chance to become a member of the elite of the Porsche-crew.
and those cars mostly drove around without roofs.
only when it rained cats and dogs it was allowed to put it up.
or when it was freezing terribly.
Do i recognize the remains of a HIGHLY modified Triumph GT6 in the Triumph GT5/BFMS Landracer?

@john-quilter I looked this one up online. Only a very few hints of a GT6 remain. It has raced as fast as 380mph, but they hope for 400. Needless to say a much more powerful V8 has replaced the 6-cylinder.
The Amilcar is tempting me, but I must show retraint....
@joop I was also curious about the Police connection to that bus, but Autocult just posted today on their Facebook page their multi-language writeup on this one and have corrected the name:
"1/43 #10010 Kraus Maffei KML 110 (D, 1959)"
