New for the month of June from Autocult...

For someone who collects micro-mini's and station wagons the email from Thomas that I opened this morning was a very welcome one, lots of oohs and aahs! I eagerly await the arrival of this batch of models on the Autocult website, with more photos.
First up is the Lightburn from Australia, my hopes are that someday they will produce either the micro station wagon or pick-up.

Next is this very cool tiny roadster, of course I can't speak for the majority of us but, I have never seen one before this morning, I think it's great and a must have.

This one would be great for touring beaches and babes!

A definite delight to my eyes this morning was this custom Mercedes-Benz Station Wagon, it's purpose was that of recording measurements at the Mercedes-Benz factory. So, not a true wagon but, definitely in my "wanted" list. Look closely and you can make out the testing equipment in the back.

And finally a truck, I love trucks! I've seen similar heavy haulage vehicles and I believe that these Kaeble's have been produced in smaller scales in the past.

The Lightburn Zeta Sports Roadster actually reminds me

of the Meadows Friskysport, does anyone remember this?

Spot On did the Frisky

Not sure if it has been done since. If not then it is a candidate for anyone doing Microcars.

The Frisky was a great idea certainly...

Built by the Meadows Engineering Company who built and supplied engines for many British sporting cars such as Lagonda and Invicta. I remember the Spot-On one too. Tried a bid on Ebay recently for one and it went for a very decent price.

Wasn't the Kaelble in HO a Wiking Karl?

Hate to burst that bubble Bob, but....

....they're not mine. These were on display at the Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum before it was auctioned off a few years ago. Wish I had been there for the auction, there were many cases filled with 1:43 Messerschmitts, Heinkels, Isettas, etc. I don't even have one of the Meadows (but I have one Spot-On Isetta).

I forgot about Marklin's HO trains - yes, there's no doubt a lot of Marklin plastic out there.
