I hope this means the civilian version will be released at some point. I like the 41 DeSoto; especially the coupe.

Yes sir!!! a little known fact is the '41 DeSoto coupe was the infamous car-wash car featured in the Cool Hand Luke movie....it is often mistaken as a '41 Plymouth or Dodge.
I recently had a very nice phone conversation with the top guy at a white metal model company, and I brought up the fact that nobody has done the '41 DeSoto coupe yet, and I mentioned the movie car, and I told him I would love to see it done in white metal, and he said 'It's a thought'.

@ben-lampson That would be awesome done as a coupe and a good seller too I'll bet; I would buy it for sure.

I recall I liked that segment of Cool Hand Luke nearly as much as the chain gang. Lol.
