The Studebaker "Custom Built" "Manta Ray" was built in 1952 by Glen Hire and Vernon Antoine of Whittier, California on an altered '51 Studebaker chassis. Over the years it morphed a bit from the original gold to light pink and the original stock engine was swapped out for a dual quad Cadillac V8. It sports triple tail fins with 1952 Lincoln tail lights. It's still running, and after its first modern appearance at Amelia Island Concours in 2016, it was put up for auction at Mecum's Monterrey Event with an estimated sales price between $200,000 and $300,000.

Pretty cool custom and certainly unusual ! The front has a bit of the GM showcar LeSabre look. Who did this very neat replica, Rich ?
