The only major problem I have with this model is the color. The original, it seems, was more gray than blue. But it's a nice old model. It compares well with these pictures of the original I found on the net.
If you want to know more, there is a fine site by the Locomobile Society at

Warning! The Locomobile Society site has both scope and some great pictures.Â
You may spend more time there than you expected. Enjoy!  David H

I used to have this one but disposed of it because of several inaccuracies. A lot of the early Brumms shared the same chassis - the base part on the Brumm can be found on Alfas, Renaults, etc. Artist Peter Helck owned the car for years, keeping it in running but marvelously unrestored condition. This would be a nice one for someone to make accurately.
Hi David,
You keep coming up with cars dear to my heart like the "Old 16" Locomobile. Thought you might enjoy seeing mine.
Â
There she is in all her glory in my office.
Â
And the Brumm model in her display spot
Â
Closeups. Way back when I detailed this model I thought I saw a block of wood strapped to the tool box.
Now that I've looked at a bunch of pics Online, thanks to you David, I wonder at what I saw? 🤣Â

Â
I know you like little people, so just for grins here is the adjacent display compartment with more "Oldies" - and little people.

Great displays, Steve, and I really like your little people. As for that block of wood, 'tis a mystery. Â
@stewil In your last photo I have three of the four. Who made the Vauxhall?
The model is by Milestone Miniatures, 1903 Vauxhall 2 seat tourer, grn, purch 9/22/06 from Milestone Min. direct.
Â
Purchased to have an example of a push-pull steering system
Â
Unable to locate a mfg. mark underneath but did note the cool drive belt
Â
Harv,
Just noted your @mg-harv handle. Does that mean you have an affinity for the MG marque?

@stewil Thanks for the info, and especially the chassis pics - very nice. Yes, I have two MGs, a TD and this Arnolt coupe.
