I remember seeing a pre-production version of this at a Countryside show. It is  a beautiful model.

Finally, the 3rd one. ..... This is a model that has long been forgotten but I believe this is the best to have ever been produced by Goldvarg until now .... the 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline. The shut lines are exceptionally crisp and the chrome trim is just sharp and amazing.
So, who else believe they have some masterpieces in their collection they look at more often than others?
@mikedetorrice I know what you mean Mike. The one model car I am having a close look at is the fav until I put it down and pick up another!
BTW amazing images of your top three and the third with the aircraft is fascinating.Â

There's no way I could choose 3 favorites. I love them best when they portray a car I particularly like and/or model the car with character, not always necessarily accuracy. I have 150 models and at least 120 qualify as 'favorites'!
+1Â Same for me.
It's not the details or proportions (they are all good but not very plentiful in 1/43), but it's about making me happy to look at them... So selecting three is almost impossible as others have said.  But here are 3 of my top 30 (in no particular order)... I also decided the other requirement is that I would want them in my 1:1 garage and to drive them...
PILEN Citroen SM, diecast - I could pick the old Corgi as well, but the paint on this one is gorgeous so I have not even bothered to look for a modern model. Â
My dream Alfa Romeo ever since they came out - Spark GTV6, resin
Not sure about this color, but it's not red so that's a plus. A most beautiful design from Zagato - Minichamps Alfa Romeo Junior Z, diecast
I've seen a few of each of these up close but never driven any. Maybe one day...
Karl, A friend has a 1/1 Junior Z and Guilia Sprint Special so naturally I had to have a model of each. The Junior Z model even has the plexiglass panel below the grill.
@bob-jackman Three more Junior Z's for Bob! Two are modern models with the plexiglass anti-Alfa shield!

@bob-jackman Found the photo of the grill of the Junior Z - with the plexiglass reverse or anti-shield! Love it!! 😎Â
Those look like they would be a blast to drive! What was the purpose of the shield?

Excellent models! Alfa Romeo impressed me very much. The Italian design is incredible, indeed!
The model by Minichamps has good quality and proportions. It was created in the time of diecast Renaissense of 1990- 2000s when Minichsmps, Schuco, Norev, Auto Art was competing each other and created a huge range of wonderful miniatures by a reasonable price.

The large plexiglas headlight cover was a design element from Zagato. They always had quirky designs, it seems. Maybe it was used as some cooling for the radiator, but it was really just an homage to the traditional shield. The Junior Z was based on the mechanicals from the Spider Duetto, which had a nice metal shield. @karl Thanks for the pictures Karl. I knew you would have the details as the expert of all things Alpha.

What a beautiful and unusual replica of this giant Cadillac. It looks great and would certainly be a star in anyone's 1/43 display, prompting a viewer to stop and gawk at this one !
