Hi all! In my post last April, I mentioned I was going to convert a Mad 1957 Lincoln 4 dr to a convertible. Just finished today with photos attached. Also, I had a tired Brooklin 1949 Lincoln that I spruced up a bit, photos attached. Hope you enjoy, I had a great time with these projects.

Did the 1957 Lincoln 4-door and convertible cars have same wheelbase and length or did you have to change that?

And here are a few more 1949-50 Lincolns.  Some are Tintin conversions,  a NEO four door fast back,  and the presidential parade car is a 3D print.

Your conversion of the Madison is outstanding. I have the Madison model in the 4 door hardtop, 2 door hardtop and convertible body styles. Your work on the Brooklin model is terrific. Love the color and details that make this model a real stand out. Thanks for sharing.

@ed-davis Thanks guys for your comments. I had 3 four doors and never could find the 2 dr or convertible. Maybe a 2 door is next?

Chazy.... your "spruced up"  Brooklin AND Madison conversion both look fantastic - you did a great job.         However, I must ask (because I do a fair amount of scale fabrication ):    Why didn't you just purchase a Madison convertible?     Was your 4-door hardtop a junker?      🤔 🤔 🤔

I have been looking for either a 2 dr hardtop or convertible for several months and none showed up for sale. Even with this conversion, I still have 3 four doors. The one I converted was better than a junker but far from  very good. So that’s why I  started my own version with a more detailed interior. If I could have purchased either 2 Dr or convertible, I would have. Thanks for your comments.
