Pair of Packards (PICS)

Just received the '49. It's a beauty and I love the way the color goes with the '54 Pacific.
I like to make up a little scenario in my head...when I brought my '49 coupe in for service at the Packard dealer, I wandered into the showroom and fell in love with that gorgeous '54 2-door hardtop on the floor, traded-in for it right on the spot, and drove it home!photo no longer available

Great cars

And what a great scenario, Barry. And, you knew in such a trade - on the ride home - that everyone in the neighborhood would flock to your driveway to see the latest and greatest beauty from Packard.

Sweet! I just love the blue 49 and I have the metallic green 54 to go with mine. Congrats.

That was a huge change in styling within those 5 years! A great story too!

Both are very nice models. I recently added the '49.

I have been thinking about the '54, but since I already have the blue version & the green one I keep hesitating. I do want the convertible version.

Yes! In the good old days the whole neighborhood would get excited when someone got a new car!

Barry, Love your scenario and the two Packards. I have both of these models and could see someone actually making such a trade.
