@paul-rouffa We have been engaged in a discussion about future models so I sent him a note asking him to clarify the USA shipping issue. I will let you know his response as soon as I have received it.
@paul-rouffa In delivering the news I am reminded of a bizarre weekend in what we called 'downstate' New York, on Max Yasgur's farm, where I was able to hear firsthand the music of Arlo Guthrie. This was not one of the tunes I remember hearing him play that weekend, but the words seem fitting in this instance: "Sad news, sad news, come to where I sleep..." as I heard from the seller in France and he does not ship to the USA (actually it was N
@gdh Or, to conflate Robert Burns with Rocky and Bullwinkle:

I took a quick look at the 1/18 page and saw

Also, don't forget the tariffs. It is insane, I purchased vintage Bulgarian stamps from Canada (through LiveAuctioneers). Had to pay tariffs (collected by UPS) equivalent to the price of the item. So, I have placed on hold all international purchases. For 20 years buying international, I have not paid a penny in taxes until now.
I have not bought anything internationally on eBay since "Liberation day"... Do they tell you at checkout what are you supposed to pay tariff's-wise, similar to the state's sales taxes?
@chav Perhaps I can answer the question, at least from this side of the pond. All sales in Germany are required to include local and state taxes. If I buy from the UK, all taxes and customs duty are separate and some sellers collect both when you pay for the goods, but others do not and that can lead to a surprise, even more so when DHL demands exact change at the door to square the tab. I find it odd that I can order from China with a rate of 14€ on top of the cost of the model and nothing more, but it costs nearly 75% of the model price in fees, to order a model from the UK. The EU brainiacs are punishing the UK for leaving the club, though Trump's tariffs are wreaking havoc on any purchases from the USA, I see.
I will; be SO happy when this tariff stuff is resolved; especially between Canada and the USA. I think I understand why it is happening (from both perspectives) and pray that the pending USA/Canada/Mexico trade agreement gets hammered out sooner than later, as the economic impact for all involved is so significant. For our hobby it is a game changer in the negative and spoils things for both the collector, trader and retail suppliers. Not fun to be collateral damage!
@jack-dodds Politicians in every country fail to see the damage their decisions cause for their constituency. Another valid reason to bring the guillotine back into use.
@jack-dodds The end of the line is around the corner, and you are welcome to add as many as you wish. We're actually starting with Angela Merkel DE and Keir Starmer UK, for opening their borders without restraint. We would heartily welcome the Clintons at the front of the line, if you have them handy.
@bob-jackman Be patient Bob. I believe Kess will offer that fastback Bentley in 1:43 soon.
Palace - sounds very French! But I have never heard of it also.... Tacot did have one in stock: https://www.tacot.com/listings/bentley-3-5l-cabriolet-gurney-nutting-1935-grey-black-palace-56606-0
