Photos of the new NEO Hudson Hornet Hollywood.

I LOVE this model. Sure, the car is ugly, at least to me, but it definitley says mid 50's. I actually really like this color combo. Pretty conservative by 50's standards, it is unlike any other model in my collection, which is always welcomed. Looks good compared to 1:1 pics. My only nit pick is the whitewalls should be wider but you can find plenty of restored cars with these narrow whitewalls. I thought the H emblem was missing from the driver side rear fender but photos on the internet show them only on the passenger side. Also, the H is a little tilted on the real cars, like this model. The paint on all my NEO models is amazing and this car is no exception, they sure have a good manufacturer. So, what do you all think? I know it will not be everyone's cup of tea.

Mark, I think that "H" on the passenger side is on the gas cap, so it should only be on one side. I'm not a collector of NEOs but this one is so unique that I think I'm going to have to get it. Thanks for the good photos!

Aha! That makes perfect sense.

Agree - lovely model and that 'H' is a gas cap.

The greenhouse looks a tad tall to me but it may not be. Details are superb. I wonder if they will release it in one of the wilder colour combos at a later date?

John, I think I recall seeing a prototype in red, black & white many months ago. Saw a tri-tone blue 1:1 image that looked fantastic.

Looks good! Thanks for the pictures, Mark. I ordered mine yesterday, so in a few days this forum can see the little people welcoming another new Hudson. I have a hunch that Neo will produce more than AMC did!

So ugly, its beautiful. I wonder how many crushed fingers between the hood and the grille frame?

Mark, I too love this model. If you had asked me a few years ago if we would ever see a model of this car, I would have bet money the answer would have been no. Resin has opened up a whole world of models we might never have had otherwise.

I agree 100%, Bob. This would have been so cool in 1/24. But, it would never have happened. Cheers to 1/43!!
