PIC - New in my collection

My new arrivals... this time, one American car and "a half"...

photo no longer available
-Monteverdi Palm Beach by Autocult
-Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan 1948 by Neo

I was expecting the Chevy since I saw it announced, but the Monte has been a great surprise...

Cheers

How do you like the Chevy now that you received it? I am wondering about how the colors work together. Gray and beige seems like an odd combination but maybe it looks OK in hand. Would like to order this one but can't find any images in this combination.

Both look cool. I have the Chevy coming, the colors intrigued me.

Mark, I have the Chevy and think it's great. The colors work well together IMO.

The detail on the model even better.

I agree with Bob. The Chevrolet colors kind of work but I'm quite sure they were never offered.

The offered two tones were not these and the Beige wasn't offered at all in '48. There was a Sport Beige in '46 and the '48 grey's were poly of metallic. Not knowing if this model will ever be offered in a more appropriate color combination, I added this one to my collection and I am quite satisfied with it. Detail is very good and way better than the old Brooklin model.
