PIC - WOW! Almost 1300 greenbacks for a Motor City USA Lincoln...
A seller from Koln, Germany has recently sold a number of nice MCUSA models on eBay including a near $1000 Chrysler woody sedan but I have never seen this model garner such a return. It is purported to be one of only a handful made in this colour but this is not noted on the box. I'm amazed.

One or two look like models I once had. Wherever he got them from, many are uncommon
And I can understand why they are in demand, just a little surprised to see non-top up convertible go for that price.

Ebay Germany...
I follow Ebay Germany rather faithfully, but somehow missed seeing these auctions. How does this seller list his Motor City models? "Motor City USA 1/43"? other?
BTW, what was the color of the MOC '46 Woody Sedan that he sold?

He listed them as Motor City USA. He sold two T&C sedans, black and green.

And speaking of MCUSA Chrysler T&C Sedans...
does anyone know anything about this one? It's in Ivory, a color that I didn't think was a factory color for this era of Chryslers.

There was a chap in Ohio who had (has?) a '48 T&C Sedan whose color was similar to the Ivory, but I have been under the impression, probably mistakenly, that his was a one-off color.

All the MOC Models proposed by this seller
The 2 T&C black and green the 1949 Lincoln the 1949 Buick Riviera etc...were purchased by the same buyer .

Back in May, a Maroon 37 Packard Formal Sedan and an Ivory 41 Packard Woody Wagon both sold for $250
