It's good to have more Graham's being made.
Not much to choose from until lately. The original Brooklin release of the '39 Sharknose, I have the beige one and the Sharknose roadster from IXO (and others) mine is light blue and this rarity from Enchantment Land (Jerry Rettig)

The these two latest releases by Brooklin. Things are definitely looking up!
Great! The styling sensation by Amos Northup probably had more influence in the 30's than the whole Chrysler Corporation had in the finny 50's.
I really wonder what Brooklin will do with the paint. Here's something I found to explain BRK's problem:
. . . And some of these paint jobs were spectacular because the [Graham] company was among the first to experiment with "pearl essence finish." As a Graham Confidential Service Bulletin explained it, pearl essence was "a compound of crystalline gaunin properly suspended in a lacquer vehicle. Gaunin is a product of protein metabolis of animal bodies and is found in the skin of certain species of fish, small particles adhering to the scales when removed. The crystals are washed away from the scales and put through a special purifying process."
So, during 1932 and 1933, you could order your Graham Blue Streak painted in the byproduct of fish scales.
I'm looking forward to this Graham!
Another must have for me. Love the thirties cars from Brooklin.
+1 !

Graham paint
I never knew about Graham and the pearl essence paint. Color chips on autocolorlibrary.com show only text with color names and the disclaimer, "Pearl Essence Lacquer - impractical to match." So if a happy Graham owner got his Grayling Green, Carmine Maroon, Bruce Blue, Gun Metal, or Golden Tan fancy sedan smacked up, he was just out of luck. Or maybe Graham could supply their dealers with paint for repairs where Ditzler couldn't.
Once I read where the original Lincoln Futura paint included some pearl effect derived from fish scales. That is why it is such a hard color to duplicate. But now I know Graham did it 25 years prior.

Thanks for the additional information, David. Can you imagine the
BRK paint shop if they see this entry? Golden Tan Polychromatic? Whee!
If you go onto Youtube - 'This car matters'
You'll see Keith Flickinger talking about and showing the Graham from the Bulgari Collection. This is the car that BRK are making. Hope this is of interest
Many more thirties cars due for 2016.
Thank you, John. A fine overview of the Blue Streak, and you also introduced me to a whole series on U-Tube that's new to me. Many, many thanks.
My pleasure David!
John, great link. Have bookmarked it. Thanks. BTW - Did you get the latest TSM Daytona Coupe, #10?
Thanks Steve...Daytona Coupe? Not me but thanks for the thought!
Steven - did you mean me? I have the first two, and plan on getting the others.
Nice photo comparison on the roofline, BTW.
