Notice on the 3rd picture, ( 2nd row on the left) the plain look of all the cars. No flashy whitewalls or gleaming chrome like the models that we are buying. If we were to take one of the concours cars from a modern car show and move it back into the '40s, it would look over restored and out of place. It would probably get just as many looks then as it does today. I really appreciate seeing what some of the form members and Brooklin do with some of  their models  (ie:taking off the whitewalls and putting on blackballs,etc). I think it looks more period correct.

Perfect combination.  I have always liked period pics.  Posing our cars in them must pose some real technical issues.

These well, done but inexpensive diecasts,  lend themselves for me to do some alterations with.  Here's a two door touring sedan with a single side mount.
