This is the first of the Chrysler 300 automobiles, as done in 1/43 by MotorMax. It is a very inexpensive replica but quite nicely done and includes a clear display case. Here it is in a bright red but I believe MotorMax also did it in other colors, too. As for the real car, yes, it has a Hemi.

It's cool to see different model choices. These are two I've not seen in person. Since I have several of the Brooklin 300 hardtops and the Windsor sedans and convertibles, I never paid attention to these two. I like the black convertible.

And as always Mike, your photos are awesome.

Thanks ! Chryslers from this era make for excellent 1/43 (or any scale) models. Luckily, replica and diecast makers tend to agree and there are some great models out there.

I have a few Motor Max and New Ray items in my collection but I am careful about acquiring then as although they are nicely done models, they can often be off scale and I am quite scale specific.   Minor detail issues I can overlook, but scale not so much.

@john-quilter John, I agree with you about scale. The only models I have that are not 1/64, 1/43, 1/24, 1/18 or 1/12 scale are those that friends have given to me. With your skill at modifying models, I can see why scale would be all important.
