An excellent model at a very affordable price.
@mikedetorrice What a great piece of automotive history. I remember your stories and pictures of your dad working with Studebaker back in the day. The stories your dad could tell must have been wonderful to a car crazy kid.
Fantastic photos, Mike - I hope you have fun memories from those times! You are right, when you are a kid, things just happen and you think everyone is the same as you. Years later, you realize what special times you had.

Thanks, Karl ! Yes, I do have some good memories ! Time itself does tend to usually recall interesting and enjoyable events.
This thread of posts has been fascinating starting with Yat Ming’s Studebaker Hawk followed by pictures of many replicas by other manufacturers and then photos of family connections with Studebaker. Thanks to all who followed Mike’s original post.

Very interesting, Karl ! I am glad there are both a museum and tours in South Bend of historic wagon maker ........and then automobile maker, Studebaker. Many years ago I recall an article on people/collectors finding many Studebaker prototypes and test vehicles in an old overgrown wooded area near the car plant
The red interior of my later-day Corgi Golden Hawk (as in Harv's collection) bothered me, so I changed it to an optic white. Some might think it's too bright but I'm happy with it..............
Nice re-do to some colors you prefer ! Of course, that is always the main thing ..... if you are happy with it is fine and that is all that counts !
