It is a nice model. But if I wanted to be picky ...

(something of an occupational hazard on the Forum) I'd have to say that when this model reached me I was immediately struck by the windscreen/windshield frame which is way too heavy (and a little too shallow) and the glass looks distinctly undersized and too deeply "sunken" within the frame.

Compare the relatively slim framing and flush glass fit on the real thing

On a white metal model where the construction material is much thicker, having the glazing a little too deeply recessed is pretty much unavoidable, but not on a resin casting. Check out the windshield fit on your Neos (and other GLMs) by way of comparison. For me, it does kind of spoil the look of an otherwise nice model.

Although I rejected the Kess 1960 LeBaron, mainly because of the bad "underbite" on the front bumper, they did the front glazing much better (although the frame itself is maybe a tad too squared off at the top corners).

Kess also correctly reproduced the little piece of chrome curving down from the headlamps to the front bumper. The GLM has an oversized and strangely wandering bit of chrome that doesn't look right.

I think the grille texture is also finer and subtler on the Kess. But there you are. Win some, lose some.

+1 Me too, but I think this car looks very nice in red with white interior.

I wanted the Kess Chrysler Imperial......

badly, but I just couldn't get past the extreme overbite of the front end.
I do, however, have the GLM Convertible in the dusk Mauve, and I am very happy with it. Like the man said, win some, lose some.

And I have the same opinion expressed here, some wins, some loses, but two looks great together and I'm quite happy with both. In a few weeks when I return home as I'm on my countryhouse, I'll made some pics of both.
