I hope that in time you will consider doing the beautiful 60 Pontiac 2dr. hardtop as well.
Another nice combo, Jack, would be the Newport Blue over Skymist Blue.
My folks bought a new '57 Pontiac Chieftain wagon in light blue with a dark blue roof and side spear, and it was beautiful!
So many great color schemes available back in the day!
+1 Agree.
Thanks for the info. I've never seen one that I can recall. They're very handsome.
Brooklin is most of the way there, Jack, with their TD convertible. Maybe
Nigel will consider adding a roof to it! I'd also like to see a color change, with an up-top convertible top on this model. Minimal changes involved, potential nice return on investment.
My pleasure, dear Rick!
+1
I may be wrong, but my loose understanding is that BRK aren't too interested in redoing or updating their old issues any longer. JR or Mike Coupe may be able to comment more accurately.
Rick, like many collectors I have the Brooklin 60 Pontiac 4drht and convertible and plan to buy Sergio's station wagon. Quite frankly, I would buy a Goldvarg issue of the 2drht. version for sure, but would prefer to spend the bigger $$$ required to buy a Brooklin on a completely new model of a car not yet done. Just one man's opinion though....
Goldvarg models........
There is no question in my mind that Sergio is trying very hard to produce great models. I am very interested in some and mildly interested in others, but they are never not done to the best of his ability.
That is not the point, to me. There has to be a change up, or variety to keep up the interest. Yes, a sixties, then a 1940's, a 1960's and then a 1950's. Variety keeps up the interest. Same with paint colors. You can't have a white roof on everything. I'm exaggerating, but it's not far from the truth. I hope this new model is a 1948. I'm guessing it is a Pontiac. I will say no more. I would just like to see something a little different, as a collector.
And it makes perfect sense, Jack. I just hope somebody will make it!
I can't remember where BRK made the cut-off insofar as its older models, but I thought the Pontiac was new enough to have made the cut. I know they got rid of many older castings, but it doesn't seem to me that the Pontiac is old enough to have been in that group. Or maybe it was; perhaps Mike or JR knows for sure.
Sergio is playing to the 60s fans who have heretofore suffered slim pickings.
There are many manufacturers who produce great models of earlier subjects.
But you're right, not everything needs a white roof.
That sounds really exciting, your 48 Pontiac Woody was great.Really liked the green one, there are m many shades of green and not least grey that were really nice in the 40s.
48 pontiac convertible will be perfect.
'48 Pontiac convertible has been done (PIC) - how about a fastback sedanette?
