PICS A magic Mustang model .........

I did post these some time ago but as there are some new people posting it's time to air these again! The model is in 1:43rd scale by Kyosho and it is a Shelby 350GT. There was also lots of chat recently about the availability of US cars of the '60's/'70's in 1:43rd scale. Lucky for us Kyosho selected this one and if you are lucky it may cost you around ?18. Low end price wise but for detail - high end!

Chris Kyosho Mustang.

I will vouch for that car, I had mine at a show and most spectators thought it was a very expensive model. The quality and detail are simply fantastic.

Sorry to sound like a broken record but....

Where can you get Kyoshos?

That's a wonderful model, Chris. Your excellent photographs present it very well. Obviously, Kyosho has done a great job with such a cool pony car.

John, Ebay is the best place.

I do not recall any US-based online diecast store to carry this line. Anyway, this model is rather old, you won't find it at a retailer.

Kyosho vs. Ixo seems Ixo also have a GT350 (1965/66) anyone see that one? Wich one looks better.
Kyosho has reissued(??) the GT350 in white & in red with gold stripes (wich I do not like that much) The Ixo is red with white stripes.

Dirk, I am hoping to find an IXO version of this .......

Mustang on Sunday. If I am lucky and obtain one I will take some pics of this model and post them here.

BTW I also have the Kyosho red/gold version.

There is a greater link between Kyosho and .....

Minichamps.

Kyosho are/where Minichamps distributor in Japan. Also some of Minichamps models have been branded as Kyosho models for sale in Japan only.

Albert - you are right here the model is a few years old ...

and is hard to find.

I get mine a couple of years ago from a retailer who said he was lucky to obtain further supplies of this model.

John - Kyosho have recently released Shelby Mustangs in Hertz red/gold, black/gold and white/gold.

You my have better luck in gaining one of these for your collection.
