PICS. Another "Pinkie" from Brooklin, a re-coIour and two US inspired designs on British cars
The latest addition to the "Pink CoIIection" is BRK227p 1957 Pontiac Safari Station Wagon in coIours described as Pale Pink Metallic/Pearl White. Accompanying the Pontiac is BRK221x 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in Adobe Beige over Sierra Gold and looking very striking. Its a limited issue of 199. Looking less striking is this British car taking its design cues from the earlier '40s US Fords, this one being the Mk.I Ford Consul in Dorchester Grey. This is the 1954 model. Finally is the 1953 Ford V8 Pilot Estate Car in the new coIour of Winchester Blue. The Pilot's US pre-war ancestry is quite obvious. Here's the Pics.

Fine pictures of a really nice selection. I thank you, Mike, especially for the 1953 Ford V8 Pilot Estate Car; that's one I've never seen before, either in 1:1 or 1:43!

Sorry John, no prizes for spotting the deliberate mistake.
I don't know why I put green. No doubt an age related mental aberration. Do I hear my carer knocking at the door? Post altered accordingly.
