PICS. BML06 is here and its another one of those superb Brooklin 1930s models, this time the '37 Studebaker Dictator Coup? in Grapestone Maroon with tan interior. I love that strangely shaped rear window,

(and I just noticed that Ed was faster than I. Oops.)
Thanks Al.
I don't suppose you can blame
Brooklin for trying to get the most out of a pattern. Everybody does it, and it does help to keep the prices down, and the company in existence. I must admit, I'd not associated the two until Ed. pointed it out, but then again I don't collect USMM. Nice model though.
And as a result, we have the possibility of a great coupe that I don't think has ever been done before in our favorite scale. I applaud BRK for the results. Now was there a coupe convertible or maybe . . .
And then there was the '38 Studebaker pickup by Matchbox Models of Yesteryear pickup series This one in bright yellow.

The Brooklin Coupe Express and the Dictator have one thing in common...
They're both 1937 Studebakers. Apart from that there is absolutely no connection. The Dictator is a completely new master, including all the small parts. A close comparison between the two models will show this.
