Great insight into the manufacturing process! Is the intro writer..

Italian? It's always a little strange compared to the photo captions! :-$

I'm not sure. As JR says, "We are two great nations separated by a common language!"

Just looked at these! Some is in English and some in, well, translated English!...

Martyn usually updates the wording but I guess he missed the first couple of paragraphs.

I am bemused.

Despite the Bulgari connection, Brooklin are (presumably) still based in Bath, England. So does an Italian supervisor watch them at work, ask them what they're doing, write notes for the diary in Italian and feed them into Google Translate? How weird.

Maybe you can tell me what Packard Super Clipper sweatpants are exactly? (They look like seating units to me, but I'm not an expert.)

Re:Brooklin, I never did get an answer to my email asking about VAT policies re sales to the USA. Used
'mail@brooklinmodels.co.uk' as the email address as suggested.

Jacques, is this the current email address we should use now?

I sent several email messages to Amanda at the email address I have used in the past (trying to order replacement BRK pieces) but have not received a response. Amanda is a great person and reliable resource so it makes we think something has perhaps changed in how to reach her???

Well that is the email I used on my 1st enquiry

It went unanswered so on the recommendation of the forum I used: 'mail@brooklinmodels.co.uk'

UPDATE: I received an email from Amanda at Brooklin Models today explaining that she had been away from work for a short time due to a family medical issue. So the email address is current and all is well. I also include this narrative to ensure that everyone understands there was a perfectly good reason for her response delay. As I mentioned earlier, Amanda has always been a tremendous assistance to Brooklin collectors for many years now and I appreciate this fact very much. No criticism of her was intended; I was simply concerned that my email address for her had become outdated.
