I haven't seen this model before, and it seemed kind of "overdone," almost a caricature of the 1:1. So I looked up some pictures of that original.

Now I've decided that John's model is very representative. It's just that the 1:1 Cadillac seems to me to be a kind of caricature of the finny Cadillacs of the earlier fifties.
Now I think I was in the Fisher Body Craftsman Guild in 1957 and really admired these Sedan de Villes but don't remember them two toned. If often at all, not with such an unpopular color combination as this. Then again I was in the conservative midwest and maybe the Cadillac dealers weren't gamblers. But this looks quite unusual. Now what I do remember is the Coupe de Ville for the Cutty Sark rep in a two tone yellow with a green roof. That looked delicious. Hic.
David, for one thing I think the headlights are way to large. They are like bugeyes.
Cadillac itself was a caricature of the 50s.
